Employers island wide to be sent a letter from the Labour Commissioner to encourage appreciation to be extended to workers. Quiz for donated prizes and gifts from Labour Dept to be aired on ZJB (Basil Chambers to promote and facilitate);

Labour Day March and Rally

Workers march to Festival Village from Davy Hill for Rally from 9:30am. A band is to be retained for this purpose and the event properly advertised and representative workers are to be mobilized by the unions to join the route (T-shirts will be distributed).
